The Local Technician Alliance (LTA) is seeking dedicated individuals to join the team as Appliance Repair Technicians. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Miele equipment at customer locations using factory training, service manuals, and specialized tools.
- Perform level and adjustment tasks on equipment, including plumbing, gas, and electrical connections.
- Install appliances and educate customers on their proper usage.
- Maintain the company-provided vehicle and ensure it is stocked with necessary tools and equipment.
- Complete service calls and warranty documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage parts inventory by ordering replacements as needed and conducting regular inventories.
- Keep the delivery truck safe and operational.
Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel locally on a daily basis.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license is a must.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well in a team.
- Self-motivated with a customer-oriented mindset.
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily in customers’ homes, with occasional exposure to varying environmental conditions.
- May encounter slippery or uneven surfaces and occasional exposure to dust, gas, or chemicals.
- Physical requirements include lifting and carrying objects up to 100+ pounds occasionally.
